Spark Of Free Traffic From Stumble Upon
That is a traffic report of my new website on a niche that I’m trying to tap. This traffic report is from Google Analytics.
As you can see, there’s not much of traffic coming to that website yet.
However, take a look at that spark of traffic on July 2, 2008. Over 400 people suddenly visited my website on a single day.
What’s going on?
I tracked down the “Top Traffic Sources” and found out that those traffic were coming from Stumble Upon!
I did stumbled my own website pages and it looks like this one minute work is paying off.
It will bring traffic, but is not a steady traffic. However, it’s better than nothing. Most of all, it’s free.
You can use this method on your website to get some FREE traffic.
Anyways, I did one mistake that you should avoid. I did not prepare a squeeze page to get email address from those traffic.
Now I have lost them and cannot bring them back.
Lesson learned!
